Communication at English-language medical conferences – LANGUAGE WORKSHOPS

Language workshops Communication at English-language medical conferences prepare participants to actively take part in presentations and discussions during international academic meetings.

During this course, you will develop your language skills and overcome your barriers in communication. You will learn new general and medical vocabulary as well as brush up grammar in particular contexts. Moreover, you will practice communication on the basis of medical cases, procedures and topics covered in recent conferences, such as: Royal College of Physicians Medicine 2023, RAISE Health Symposium 2025 and Transforming Health Care with IT 2025.

This course will prepare you to make presentations and lead discussions in conferences and symposia.

– topics from English-language medical conferences

– innovations in medicine

– medical cases

– general and medical vocabulary

– grammatical structures improving the quality of communication

– language etiquette

– organising a speech

– leading a discussion
